🚌 Burren and Cliffs Explorer Shuttle System

Here is what you need to know to plan your visit:

  • You need a ticket or reservation to ride the Burren and Cliffs Explorer.
  • There are 7 routes, full timetable of each route is here, not all routes stop at the Cliffs of Moher Experience. See below how you can get to the Cliffs of Moher Experience with some bus changes.
  • Please note: This schedule is subject to change.
  • We advise to plan out your full day of activities.
  • The bus from Kilfenora requires you to book a return ticket.
  • Be mindful of the time you board the shuttle back to the villages at the end of the day. You should not wait for the last shuttle of the day. If the last shuttle is full, or if you miss the last shuttle, you may have to get a public bus or taxi.

The Clare County Council along with The National Parks and Wildlife Service are running this shuttle service as a pilot scheme in 2025 to reduce traffic and parking problems, promote slow tourism, and offer economic benefit to the towns and villages. Download this map here.
