Visitor Plan

Over 600 meters of pathways and viewing platforms along the cliff edge allow the visitor to enjoy a spectacular and healthy cliff walk. The amazing views of the Cliffs, the famous Aran Islands, Kerry mountains, Galway Bay, O'Briens Tower and the thousands of seabirds make the Cliffs a magical place. If you are lucky you will hear and see the Cliffs Buskers playing traditional Irish music along the Cliff pathways. Talking telescopes are dotted along the paths and a souvenir e-mail photo opportunity is available at O'Briens Tower.

To enhance the Visitor Experience at the Cliffs of Moher, Rangers are available throughout the complex to provide visitors with information on wildlife, geology, botany, history and more. Rangers also are involved in conservation and protection of the natural habitats of the Cliffs. On arrival to the Cliffs Rangers and other staff will be visible about the visitor areas and especially on the cliff edge. Feel free to ask them any questions you may have.

Inside the building and at the entrance kiosks Customer Service Agents man information and ticket booths where you can ask questions, pay for the Facilities charge or buy tickets to the Atlantic Edge exhibition.

Cliffs of Moher staff are easily identified by their uniform and badge and they are there to make your visit special. Please make sure you comply with instructions from staff, especially in the areas near the cliff side where conditions may vary.

Ask any staff member about our free guided tours of the cliff side conducted by the Ranger team.
